When I look around me I realized that not many of my family or friends are in unhealthy relationships and I think this is true for the majority of people out there. If you look around, you will see your family, friends in some sort of relationships hazards, either that they’re abusive relationships or beneficial relationships. It can be difficult to be in a healthy relationship if you don’t have things together in your life. If you don’t have things together, how will you have it together in your relationship?
If you think that you’re in an unhealthy relationship, you should make plan to leave. It’s the best way because staying in an unhealthy relationship will make you really vulnerable to abuse and physical harm. It’s better to be without a relationship than to be in a harmful relationship. Relationship isn’t everything and you can live without one. I have live without one for sometimes and I find it to be much better than sticking in a horrible relationship. I have had much terrible relationship before and I hated it. I rather be alone and focus on my life until I find someone suitable for me.
I think that you will know if you are in an unhealthy relationship. All the headaches you get would be a sure sign already. When you’re in a good relationship, you will not get the headaches, anger, abuse that you get in unhealthy ones. It’s just simple to recognize and once you do, you need to ask yourself if you should stay or leave but then you should leave a high risk relationship. It’s the only choice that will make you happy. You can tell that you’re in an unhealthy relationship when your partner ignore you, control you, abuse you, cheats on you or hit you. If they do all of these things, they are not healthy for you. It’s unfortunate but a lot of women are in this kind of relationship. I have had many with my boyfriends, my family and it just doesn’t end. I considered pets to be better friends than people sometimes. It’s difficult to achieve a healthy relationship unless you’re really lucky. It’s important to have a healthy relationship and you should make that your goal.

· Trusting and being honest with yourself and each other.

· show respect and kindness: In an intimate relationship, this extends to sharing love and affection. Partners value each other’s differences rather than use them to separate and cause conflict.

But if you are in an unhealthy relationship:

· You care for and focus on another person only and neglect yourself or you focus only on yourself and neglect the other person.

· You feel pressure to change to meet the other person’s standards, you are afraid to disagree, and your ideas or criticized. Or, you pressure the other person to meet your standards and criticize his/her ideas.

· One of you has to justify what you do, where you go, and who you see.

· You lie to each other and find yourself making excuses for the other person.

· One of you feels unheard and is unable to communicate what you want.

· One of you makes all the decisions and controls everything without listening to the other’s input.
